In 2021 there are Suffolk County Council and Ipswich Borough Council elections. Your councillor needs to know that now, more than ever, we need Clean Air and this issue will determine how you vote.

You might like to ask your MP what action they are going to take to encourage and support our local councils to discharge their statutory obligations to deliver legal air.

Suffolk’s Director of Public Health, Stuart Keeble, has a leadership role to ensure Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council deliver legal air. Stuart has all the tools and information he needs - Public Health England have provided him with evidence-based interventions and advice.

People who are affected by air pollution are at a significantly increased risk from Covid 19. We cannot go back. Now, more than ever, dealing with air pollution needs to be much higher up Stuart’s to-do list.
