But in any case, meaningful change can only take place if our local authorities discharge their statutory responsibilities and take action to reduce air pollution. So let them know you’d like them to protect your health.
Contact your Councillors from both Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council (find them). Introduce them to our website to help them understand the illegal pollution in Ipswich and the impact on the health of the people they represent. Direct them to the council’s responsibilities. Then ask them if they support the demands of Ipswich CAN and if so, what actions they are going to take. Let us know the views of your councillor and we’ll print them on this site.
